Joseph Had a Dream
Genesis 37:7Joseph was a dreamer, and God used him mightily. How is God trying to use you?
We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it."
When I read the account of Joseph in the Bible, two things come to mind. First, be careful who you tell about your dreams. When Joseph told his brothers about his dream, they wanted and tried to kill him. Second, regardless of your circumstances, God is watching over you to make your dreams come to pass. Even though Joseph was sold into slavery, then, was falsely accused and sent to prison; God used his commitment to excellence and trust in the dream that God gave him to cause his dream to become a reality.
It's not your current circumstances that is important, it is your commitment to God and His vision for your life. God is bigger than anything that may stand in your way.
Now Joseph was the governor of the land, the one who sold grain to all its people. So when Joseph's brothers arrived, they bowed down to him with their faces to the ground.
