"Love the Bubbles and Mindmapping! I could never get my head around how to integrate my iCal and Treo with my larger planner -- and I need both. I had an Aha! moment when you said to use The Bubble Planner for planning..."

Tagline Winner Announced

Little Bubbles. Big Ideas. With this phrase, Matt Beaman left an indelible (at least as indelible as a pixel can be) mark on our website. We are grateful for all of you who participated in the contest. As the winner, Matt selected the 360 Planner, which we shipped yesterday. By the way, Matt is currently a Training Manager for a Credit Union and is working on his certification to become a Life Success Consultant, which coaches people on how to put the concepts of "The Secret" and the Law of Attraction in to place in their lives.

We loved this quote from Matt, "THANK YOU! I was very excited to learn you had selected my idea! It's quite incredible to see my idea on your website, and I'm so happy to be a part of your continued success! I feel like somewhat of a celebrity now that I've won a tagline contest, and couldn't hardly wait to tell my friends."

As a token of our appreciation, we are sending each person who made a tagline suggestion a Mini Bubble Planner. So, if you suggested a tagline, e-mail us your address.

Time Tip - Highlighting

I owe this tip to my wife. So, if you see her, and you like this suggestion, be sure to thank her.

If you're using the Bubble Planner, you know that highlighting is much better than crossing through completed tasks. It serves to positively reinforce behavior and maintains readability of what you've accomplished. Now, here's the twist that may change your workflow. Use a different color highlighter for different purposes.

For example, if you delegate tasks, highlight it in a color that's different from the "completed tasks" color. Whether through culture or some other reason, the colors you use have a unique meaning. So, you may want to consider the following general associations when choosing your highlighters:

Red (Pink) - Passion, Warmth
Orange - Creativity, Emotion
Yellow - Cowardice
Light Yellow - Wisdom
Green - Life
Blue (American's Favorite Color) - Devotion
Purple - Royalty
